The School of Pharmacy at the University of Mississippi is seeking a Chair for the Department of Medicinal Chemistry. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry or a closely related discipline. A successful candidate will have outstanding experience and accomplishments in academic research and administration, including fiscal and personnel management, and excellent interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include leadership of the department; enhancement of research, teaching and service activities of the department faculty; and facilitating interaction with other units of the School of Pharmacy and the University. The Chair will teach in the professional pharmacy program and in the graduate program in Medicinal Chemistry. Academic rank up to the full professorial level will be considered.
